Celebrating Clergy Week

Each year, Civitan International celebrates Clergy Week.

The Idaho Falls Civitan Club will honor Clergy with our Clergy Appreciation Week (February 7th through February 13th, 2010) lunch that will be held on February 11, 2010. The luncheon is held at the Red Lion Convention Center at noon.

Dave Smith is chairing this project (again!) and is hoping to make this year extra special by getting as many of our local Clergy as possible to attend. Please ask your pastor, as a personal invitation, to attend the luncheon on the 11th.

For those of you who do not know what Clergy Appreciation Week is, it is an opportunity to thank members of our local clergy for all that they do in our community, mostly behind the scenes, and without compensation, fanfare, or any desire for recognition.

Post-Alive After Five

It is cold! So that means Alive After Five is over for 2009.

"Alive After Five" is the Idaho Falls Civitan primary fund-raiser, while we raise fund for community activities, we also have a lot fun!

From late May to early September on Wednesdays, we (and the community) gather at Civitan Park for good food, cold drinks and great music! Highlights from 2009 include:
